IFLA EU Youth competition

IFLA Europe proudly announces the launch of its Young Professionals Competition on the theme „Use of trees and vegetation in the design and construction of resilient urban areas”.The competition is open to entries from 15th June  2015. The deadline for submitting contributions is 1st September 2015The results will be announced in September 2015.

 

IFLA Europe including EFLA (European Foundation for Landscape Architecture) has held Landscape Architectural design competitions since the 1990´s.  2015 IFLA Europe Young Professionals Competition will build on the success and lessons learned from previous competitions and is anticipated to further develop the visibility and the possibilities for collaboration with National Associations, Universities and the Landscape Industries.

 

There are three categories for Young Professionals – for graduates but also students of post graduate diploma or masters programmes as per above i.e a student/alumnus of a landscape architecture course or a practitioner in the field of landscape architecture.

 

A Conceptual projects

B Projects realized and constructed (photos, sketches, analyses, plans etc. of actually existing, realized projects).

C Ideas: a broad category which includes any creative work relative to landscape architecture (photo, collage, animations, short essays, drawings, poetry...).
